PLC Engineer

Who are we looking for?

As a PLC Engineer, you will occupy a key position within our team of expert engineers. You will be responsible for designing, programming, testing and implementing state-of-the-art PLC control systems for our machines and production lines. Working closely with other engineers and technicians, you will develop customized solutions that specifically meet our customers’ requirements. You will be involved in the entire project process, from concept phase to commissioning, ensuring that our machines perform optimally and meet the highest quality standards.

What will you do?

• Design and programming of PLC control systems for industrial machinery and production lines.
• Analyze and interpret technical specifications and customer requirements.
• Testing and debugging PLC programs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Perform on-site commissioning at customer sites and provide technical support as needed.
• Collaborate with other teams, such as mechanical design, electrical engineering and automation, to develop integrated solutions.
• Document technical specifications, designs and modifications according to required standards.
• Continue to learn about the latest developments and technologies in PLC control systems and automation.

Who are you?

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, industrial automation, mechanical engineering or a related field.
• You have proven experience in PLC programming, preferably with Siemens (Step 7, TIA Portal) or Allen-Bradley (RSLogix).
• You have knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, etc.
• Experience with HMI/SCADA systems is a plus.
• You have good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You have strong communication skills and can work effectively as part of a team.
• You are flexible and willing to travel to customer sites for commissioning and support.
