Fully automatic crate handling at Wezenberg Group in IJsselmuiden.
Wezenberg Group has been a fixture in the logistics world since 1945. With their Agricultural Logistics Center in IJsselmuiden, they provide storage, cross-docking and handling of conditioned products and dry goods. They also manage their own depot for cleaning reusable packaging. To make the crate process even more efficient, Wezenberg chose an advanced depalletizer and palletizer line from Reintjes Systems.
Everything turns, no one lifts
With the new line, manually unloading, stacking and transporting folding crates is a thing of the past. The system is fully compatible with the industrial washing process carried out within the center. With this, Wezenberg is taking an important step towards an automated and sustainable food processing chain.
The investment fits perfectly with the family business’ vision for the future: reliable, scalable and focused on the long term.
One line, endless possibilities
The total solution developed by Reintjes consists of several universal modules that are perfectly matched. Consider a depalletizer for unloading various pallet types such as EURO, EuroPool and LPR. These are followed by, among others, a palletizer, a pallet destacker, a pallet stacker and an angled depositor, which allows several pallets to be fed in simultaneously.
Everything is transported automatically via pallet roller conveyors, even with heavy loads of up to 1,000 kilograms. Thanks to this clever coupling of modules, every step in the process is performed faster, safer and error-free.
A smart link in a sustainable chain
With this stroke of automation, Wezenberg proves that logistics innovation can go hand in hand with sustainability. The entire process is geared to speed and precision, while relieving employees of physically demanding work.
