Automatically unload, sustainably advance: two universal depalletizers at Alaerds Allegro.
Alaerds Allegro has been all about quality, reliability and innovation in cucumber cultivation for over fifty years. On their 7.5-hectare estate in Hegelsom, they work day in and day out to produce top-quality fresh products. In order to make the processing even more efficient, the family business opted for a major step forward in automation: the installation of two universal machines. depalletizers from Reintjes Systems.
Less lifting, more pace
Until recently, full pallets of heavy crates and boxes had to be unloaded manually. A time-consuming, labor-intensive job. “That can be done smarter,” was the thought at Alaerds Allegro. And so it happened. The new machines integrate effortlessly into the existing food processing line, so the pallets are now processed automatically.
The benefits are clear: less physical strain, higher processing speed and a future-proof process. A great step in the further sustainability of the chain, and a relief for the shop floor.
One solution, countless possibilities
What makes these depalletizers special is their universal and modular nature. Whether they are EURO, EuroPool or LPR type pallets, the machines process them with the same ease. Large and small crates, boxes of different sizes, everything is automatically removed from the pallet and brought to the production line.
Thanks to the built-in pallet elevator, the machines can also be easily loaded with a pump truck. Flexible, user-friendly and future-oriented.
Working together to create a sustainable supply chain
The partnership between Alaerds Allegro and Reintjes Systems fits perfectly within the company’s vision. As a member of grower cooperative Kompany (Grow Together), Alaerds Allegro is committed to sustainable growth. Not only in the field, but throughout the chain. Smart technology helps with that.
